Good Shepherd
Visions deep runs clear and wide
His stand is all but ever
Casts warm hand in fertile ground
Raising bow and arrow
No hunter he for savage lands
Walking streets forever
In him the Shepherd found his mark
No aim too cold or tethered
His children cried from rivers driven
No listening words of change
Could answer calls of death and loss
All backs be turned by shame
There stood the Shepherd for the flock
Of life that’s gone forever
In him the book with written names
That shine on earth forever
No pity sake no life is gained
With him all bread was given
His body Christ was glorified
A Shepherd with a Vision
A Shepherd with a Vision
